For the Love of the Game
Someone out there is trying to take away what you have built and/or are building. Can you feel it? Do you see it? Are you ready for it?
The stronger you get, the more people will want what you have. It's just human nature and it is something you should be excited about. Yes, I said excited. You see, I thrive on competition. And I believe any real entrepreneur does, too.
If you don't have any competition, it means you don't have what someone else wants. So, in a sense, you WANT competition.
Have you ever heard the saying "The person who has the high ground has the advantage"? It means if you #STARTEDFROMZERO like I did, you will have you disrupt the order of things. And when you disrupt the order of anything, some people will not like it.
But your job is not to be liked by everyone. Your job is to solve a person's problem better than anyone else. Your job is to disrupt the order of things and get to the high ground yourself.
To do that, you will have to thrive on competition. You will have to outwork them. You will have to out-position them. You will have to use what they can't - YOUR STORY.
And let me tell you something about your story - It's your ultimate weapon. It's your one true advantage. So, use it. YOUR STORY doesn't do anyone any good if you keep it inside your head. So get it out of your head and down on paper. That's what we at DreamStarters do for people. (In 30 days / 120 page book). Yeah, I said book.. not a pamphlet. If someone needs help, help them. If someone is trying to take food off your table, destroy them. Business is a game - a game that you can change people's lives in the process. And it becomes very fun to play the more you begin to disrupt the order of things.
